Koziatyn - Battle of Warsaw - Battle CycĂłw - Battle ZadwĂłrze - Battle of Daugavpils - the battle of Dytiatyn - Battle Niemen Battle ZadwĂłrze - the battle which took place on 17 August 1920 during the Russo-Polish War between the 330 Polis h branch of the Defenders of Lviv under the command of Cpt. Boleslaw Zajaczkowski and the forces of the Bolshevik Army First Cavalry Semyon Budionnego. It took place on the distant outskirts of Lviv, 33 km from the town near the village ZadwĂłrze currently to be found on the territory of Ukraine. The aim of the defenders was to delay the approach of the Bolshevik troops in Lvov.
